It’s easy to be tempted by the dark side. Moira builds damage fast – faster than most DPS heroes. You can often top the damage charts, especially early on. It feels like you’re in control – but you’re not.
DPS Moira is easy to counter. She’s predictable, overextends, and dies the moment someone decides to focus her. And if your team is at a lower skill level than you, playing DPS Moira is almost a guaranteed loss. You’re not enabling anyone. You’re just padding stats while your team crumbles.
Healing Moira is a different story.
This build turns you into the engine that carries the entire lobby. You generate energy fast, throw out more healing orbs than the enemy can break through, and give your team the sustain they need to win fights they’d normally lose. Your output doesn’t fall off – it scales harder every round.
You don’t just keep your teammates alive.
You make them dangerous.
You make them win.
And you don’t die.
**This is the path to victory. The other is just noise.

🧠Notes: Round 1 is the only round where you might actually struggle with energy. To build up enough healing momentum, you may need to play slightly more aggressively at the start just to make sure you do go out of energy.
To maximize your bounty, I can’t stress enough how important it is to use your orbs for healing. It can sure be tempting to throw out a damage orb – especially when the enemy is grouped or you see a chance to secure some poke damage. But the problem is this: suddenly, you or a teammate is low on HP, and you don’t have enough energy – or healing output – to deal with it. And if you die, you can’t heal. That means missed uptime, missed bounty, and a loss of momentum you can’t afford early on.

Log In@dropthebass#0 simply because most players don't have enough bounty to pick a sixth item here - and I find it far to powerful to actually buy the [Martian Mender] over some green or blue item at this point.

I found it a bit challenging to accumulate enough money for some of the early talents, but I was still the top healer and didn't die once. I even outlived the enemy damage, Moira, who was flanking our team, keeping them all alive in the process. I'm testing this build out today and will update.
@luluow yeah, the bounty can be problematic if your team is pretty weak, or that the enemy team is so much greater than your team. But for me, it usually just around 1-2 matches out of 10 that I can have a problem with earning the bounty needed for the early talents. Just as you say, a dps moira is no problem at all - you can spawn far more healing orbs than she can spawn dmg orbs. You can literally ignore her and just continue to heal yourself and the rest of the team. And as soon as they notice her, they will kill her.. That's what I do :)
