Build Notes

Have you ever wanted to sit on the objective and never die? No? Well... In case you wanted to, here's a build where you can.

This is a relatively cheap build that allows you to live for absurd lengths of time. I've added options for matchups for you to spend extra cash on, but you can do whatever you want really.

This build is good at:

  • Holding control of objectives
  • Stalling or holding the lead in overtime
  • Making the enemy team really annoyed

This build is not good at:

  • Carrying the team in terms of damage
  • Doing basically anything proactive

For your strategy, you'll want to stick to the objective in order to best take advantage of [Field Rations], though you can push ahead with your team if you want, especially on control maps. Your ultimate is a powerful tool, since it allows you to launch your enemies out of the objective, which can secure a win at the right moment (This is especially good on Push maps).

Round Notes

Round Notes

The first two rounds are mostly about collecting money while we set up for the future.

For round 1, we take [Philharmonic Fortitude] to give the barrier a large boost. This will be a lot more helpful later.

[Compensator] and [Power Playbook] give us small boosts to all our damage to allow us to get more money. My two recommendations for further items are also shown:

[Field Rations] is an extremely useful boost to survivability as long as you stay on the objective (Which you'll be doing a lot of with this build)

[Siphon Gloves] is a particularly good item for Sigma, since his primary is so slow that you can perform quick melees between individual attacks and still have the same long range damage output. Just be aware that you can't cancel melee into abiltiies.

This build is great, and it has some good flexibility if you have a surplus budget or need to pivot into damage a bit. I ended up finding that Gloomgauntlet is a good upgrade if you have the budget for it, I replaced my Siphon with it and it ended up being a very nice survivability and damage boost in round 4 letting me get some unexpected picks.
